7/24/00 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13951 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE REPLACEMENT <br />AND /OR REPAIR OF MOTORS FOR THE VARIOUS PUMP <br />STATIONS IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br />THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br />for the replacement and /or repair of motors for the various pumps stations in the <br />City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publications one bid was received; and <br />WHEREAS, Koffler Electrical Mechanical Apparatus Repair of San <br />Leandro, California, for motor replacement and /or repair, is the lowest <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the <br />bid of Koffler Electrical Mechanical Apparatus Repair; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Koffler Electrical Mechanical Apparatus Repair, in the total <br />amount of Twenty -four Thousand Six Hundred Forty-eight and No /100 Dollars <br />($24,648.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated June <br />19, 2000, for replacement and /or repair of water, storm and sanitary sewer <br />motors for the various pump stations, which bid is on file in the office of the City <br />Reso -938 1 <br />DES:djk <br />F: /Shared /Shared /Redwood /Council <br />07/11/00 <br />
