_ 8/14/00 <br />0RIGINA L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13961 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE THERMOPLASTIC <br />STREET MARKINGS AND STREET SIGNS SERVICE <br />PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY <br />DEPOSITS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13931, adopted June 26, 2000, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Thermoplastic Street Markings and <br />Street Signs Service Project in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, three bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, Chrisp Company of Fremont, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br />bid to Chrisp Company; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Chrisp Company in the amount Thirty-eight Thousand Nine <br />Hundred Ten and No /100 Dollars ($38,910.00), computed in accordance with <br />bidder's proposal dated July 26, 2000 for the Thermoplastic Street Markings and <br />Street Signs Service Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found <br />and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br />Reso-965 1 <br />R /Shared /Redwood /Council <br />DES:djk <br />08/02/00 <br />
