8/28/00 <br />0R1r,I,4AL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13981 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY <br />OF SAN MATEO, THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AND <br />REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT REGARDING <br />CONSTRUCTION, ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF <br />PLAYING FIELDS AT TAFT AND GARFIELD SCHOOL <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redwood City approved an <br />agreement entitled, "Agreement Between the County of San Mateo, the City of <br />Redwood City, and the Redwood City School District Regarding Construction, <br />Establishment and Maintenance of Playing Fields at Taft and Garfield Schools" <br />(the "Agreement'), on November 8, 1999, by Resolution No. 13782. <br />WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo has requested an amendment to <br />the Agreement to fulfil the terms and conditions of its Community Development <br />Block Grant program; and <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented for review and consideration by <br />this Council an amendment to the Agreement; and <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Amendment to Agreement Between the <br />County of San Mateo, the City of Redwood City, and the Redwood City School <br />District Regarding Construction, Establishment and Maintenance of Playing <br />Fields at Taft and Garfield Schools" (form dated April 11, 2000), a copy of which <br />Agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br />Reso -879 <br />F/R W C /Shared /Council /Reno <br />FXS /fs <br />04/27/00 <br />
