8/28/00 <br />0 RIGI7TIAL <br />(07/10/00) <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14000 <br />Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br />Agreement With Redwood City Police Activities League <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City Police Activities League is a private, non - profit organization that <br />provides alternative programs to drugs and gangs to the youth of Redwood City, which services are in <br />furtherance of the public health, welfare and benefit; and <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City Police Activities League, has requested financial assistance for use by <br />it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000 and ending June 30, 2001; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into an <br />agreement with Redwood City Police Activities League to provide financial assistance in furtherance of its <br />public purposes; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement (form dated 7/10/00), by and between the City of Redwood City and <br />Redwood City Police Activities League a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br />to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br />City. <br />
