I IJ A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14020 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR FACILILTY RENOVATION <br />(POPLAR RECARE) <br />WHEREAS, the Poplar ReCare (Contractor) conducts an educational and <br />vocational services program for infants, children, adults, and seniors with disabilities for <br />residents of the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Fifteen Thousand and no /100 Dollars ($15,000.00) <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, Agreement for Facility Renovation (Poplar <br />Recare) (form dated 008/15/00), by and between the City of Redwood City and Poplar <br />8/15/00 1 <br />
