9/11/00 <br />0 R I 6 I iJ AL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14039 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR REDWOOD FAMILY HOUSE <br />TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM <br />(SHELTER NETWORK OF SAN MATEO COUNTY) <br />WHEREAS, Shelter Network of San Mateo County (Contractor) conducts a <br />transitional housing and comprehensive support services for homeless families who <br />reside in the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Eighty Thousand and no /] 00 Dollars ($80,000) from <br />its General Fund for the foregoing purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />
