9/11/00 <br />0 R I G I V A L <br />RESOLUTION NO1 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT WITH PENINSULA CONFLICT RESOLUTION <br />CENTER FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE REDWOOD CITY <br />COMMUNITY MEDIATION PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center ( "PCRC "), a non - profit <br />corporation of the State of California, presently operates the Redwood City <br />community boards program, the purpose of which is to improve neighborhood <br />and community communication, in furtherance of the public order, health and <br />welfare in the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, PCRC represents that it is qualified and experienced to <br />perform the aforesaid conflict resolution services required for said Program; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for the Provision of <br />Community Mediation Services ", by and between the City of Redwood City, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, and Peninsula Conflict <br />Resolution Center, for the performance of the above - mentioned services, a copy <br />of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and <br />the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />Reso -988 <br />F: \shared \redwood \council <br />FXS:djk <br />09/01/00 <br />
