10/16/00 <br />_ O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14052 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR RED MORTON <br />PARKIVALOTA ROAD RESTROOM REPLACEMENT <br />PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY <br />DEPOSIT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13973, adopted August 14, 2000, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for Red Morton Park/Valota Road Restroom <br />Replacement Project in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, one bid was received for the <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, D & D Pipelines of Greenbrae, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br />bid to D & D Pipelines; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of D & D Pipelines in the amount of One Hundred Twenty -four <br />Thousand and No /100 Dollars ($124,000.00), computed in accordance with <br />bidder's proposal dated September 13, 2000 for the Red Morton Park/Valota <br />Road Restroom Replacement Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br />Reso -1003 1 <br />F:/Shared/Redwood/Council <br />DES:djk <br />09/28/00 <br />
