10/16/00 <br />ORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1405 <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY - <br />OWNED PROPERTY SURPLUS; AND AUTHORIZING SALE <br />THEREOF <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City owns that certain personal property <br />listed on Exhibits "A ", "B ", and "C ", attached hereto and by this reference <br />incorporated herein; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that such property is not <br />needed for present or prospective municipal or public purposes, and should be <br />declared surplus; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property and <br />determined that the current reasonable market value of the total of each of the <br />surplus items to be sold as a unit is more than Five Thousand Dollars <br />($5,000.00); and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to declare said <br />property surplus and authorize its sale in accordance with Section 3 -1/2 of the <br />Charter of the City of Redwood City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.
