I A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14066 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING <br />ENGINEERING AND DESIGN SERVICES <br />(ZEIGER ENGINEERS, INC.) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires the preparation of <br />construction documents to modify existing electrical panels in the City's <br />"essential facilities" (the "Facilities ") located at the Community Activities Building, <br />the Fair Oaks Community Center and the Veterans Senior Center to accept <br />emergency portable generators in the City of Redwood City (the "Project "); and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />consulting electrical engineering and design services; and <br />WHEREAS, Zeiger Engineers, Inc. of Oakland, California, represents that <br />it possesses the experience, and is qualified to perform the aforesaid services for <br />the Project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement — Professional Consulting <br />Engineering and Design Services" (form dated 09/19/00), by and between the <br />City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California, and <br />Zeiger Engineers, Inc. for the performance of the above - mentioned services, a <br />10/23/00 <br />Reso -996 1 <br />FXS:djk <br />F:/Shared/Redwood/Council <br />09/19/00 <br />
