11/13/00 <br />O <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14nR6 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF SECOND AMENDMENT TO FUNDING AGREEMENT FOR <br />WOODSIDE ROAD WIDENING PROJECT <br />(SAN MATEO COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and the San Mateo County <br />Transportation Authority ( "Authority") entered into that certain agreement entitled, <br />"Funding Agreement' dated September 28, 1998, for preparation of a Project <br />Study Report for the addition of one lane in each direction of travel on Woodside <br />Road between El Camino Real and Broadway in the City of Redwood City (the <br />"Project "); and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the Funding Agreement, the Authority agreed to <br />contribute funds not to exceed $158,000 toward completion of the Project; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13809, adopted January 10, <br />2000, the City of Redwood City entered into a First Amendment with Authority for <br />an additional allocation of $43,400.00 to fund completion of said Project; and <br />WHEREAS, further additional funds are required to complete the Project; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Authority has authorized allocation of an additional <br />$622,800.00 for the Project; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and Authority desire to amend the <br />Funding Agreement to provide for the aforesaid additional allocation; <br />Reso•1022 1 <br />FJshared/Redwood/Counci I <br />DES:djk <br />10/23/00 <br />
