12/4/00 <br />0 R I I i i A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14092 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO <br />(2) UTILITY TRAILERS AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br />the purchase of two (2) utility trailers for the Department of Public Works <br />Services in the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, two bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Action Trailer Sales, Inc. of San Jose, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the <br />bid of Action Trailer Sales Inc.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Action Trailer Sales, Inc. for the sale of two (2) utility <br />trailers to the City of Redwood City, in the amount of Thirteen Thousand Twenty <br />and 96/100 Dollars ($13,020.96) in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated <br />November 13, 2000 is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be <br />the lowest responsible bidder in response to solicitation for bids without <br />advertisement for said equipment. <br />2.
