12/11/00 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14099 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF LEASE AGREEMENT OF TIDE AND SUBMERGE LANDS <br />FOR OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE PURPOSES <br />(A PORTION OF STEINBERGER SLOUGH) <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Lease PRC 7723.9 ", by and between the <br />State of California, acting by and through the State Lands Commission ( "Lessor") <br />and the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California <br />( "Lessee "), providing for a lease over a portion of Tide and Submerged Lands in <br />and along the Steinberger Slough for the purpose of operation and maintenance <br />of two saltwater intake /discharge pipelines and improve water circulation of the <br />water lagoon system at the Redwood Shores Peninsula, Redwood City, <br />California for a term commencing December 13, 1999 and expiring December <br />12, 2024, a copy of which lease agreement is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is <br />hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute and to attest thereto, respectively, said lease agreement for <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />ReSo-1046 1 <br />FXS:djk <br />FVS hared/Redwood/Coundi <br />11/26/00 <br />
