BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. This Council finds that the anticipated cost to the City for thermal or <br />electrical energy or conservation services provided by Noresco, LLC under the <br />energy services contract entitled, "Energy Services Agreement by and between <br />the City of Redwood City and Noresco, LLC' (the "Agreement ") will be less than <br />the anticipated marginal cost to the City of thermal, electrical, or other energy <br />that would have been consumed by the City in the absence of the Agreement. <br />2. This Council determines that the Agreement is in the best interest of <br />the public agency. <br />3. That certain agreement entitled, "Energy Services Agreement by and <br />between the City of Redwood City and Noresco, LLC' (form dated 11/27/00), by <br />and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California, and Noresco, LLC, for the installation and maintenance of the energy <br />conservation measures copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is <br />hereby approved and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and <br />directed to execute and to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for and on <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />-2- <br />14110 <br />
