1/29/01 <br />0RI ;I J.AL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14137 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIAL COUNSEL <br />SERVICES <br />(COX, CASTLE & NICHOLSON LLP) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires environmental special <br />counsel services relating to alleged non - potable groundwater contamination; and <br />WHEREAS, the firm of Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP represents that it is <br />qualified to provide such services; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain letter agreement by and between Cox, Castle & Nicholson <br />LLP and the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California dated June 8, 2000, for the performance of special counsel services <br />relating to non - potable alleged groundwater contamination in the vicinity of a <br />portion of El Camino Real, the City of Redwood City, a copy of which letter <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br />hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br />Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute, and to <br />attest thereto, respectively, said letter agreement for and on behalf of the City of <br />Redwood City. <br />Reso -1062 <br />F: /s h a red /Redwood /Cou nci I <br />DESrg <br />12/22/00 <br />
