2/26/01 <br />0RIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. i a i as <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PAVEMENT REPAIR <br />SERVICES AT CARSON RESERVOIR; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br />WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br />pavement repair services at Carson Reservoir in the City of Redwood City, <br />California; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, three bids were received for the <br />performance of said work and filed with the Department of Public Works <br />Services; and <br />WHEREAS, Bay Area Paving Company of San Mateo, California is the <br />lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br />award said bid to Bay Area Paving Company; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Bay Area Paving Company in the amount of Seventeen <br />Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty -six and No /100 Dollars ($17,926.00), computed <br />in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated October 30, 2000, for the <br />pavement repair services at Carson Reservoir, is hereby accepted and said <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br />work. <br />2.
