2/26/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14150 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING <br />ENGINEERING AND DESIGN SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH <br />THE BAY TRAIL IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT AT THE <br />TERMINUS OF WHIPPLE AVENUE <br />(THE BEALS GROUP, INC.) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires Bay Trail improvements at <br />the terminus of Whipple Avenue in the City of Redwood City, California (the <br />"Project'); and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />consulting engineering and design services; and <br />WHEREAS, The Beals Group, Inc. of San Jose, California, represents <br />that it possesses the experience, and is qualified to perform the aforesaid <br />services required for the Project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement - Professional Consulting <br />Engineering and Design Services — Bay Trail Improvements Project at the <br />Terminus of Whipple Avenue" (form dated 02/13/01), by and between the City of <br />Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California, and The Beals <br />Group, Inc., for the performance of the above - mentioned services, a copy of <br />which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference <br />Reso -1084 1 <br />DES:djk <br />R /S h a red /Redwood /Cou n ci I <br />02/13/01 <br />
