3/26/01 <br />0RIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14179 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR JOINT TRAINING OFFICER <br />TRAINING SERVICES <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City ( "City "), South County Fire Authority <br />( "Fire Authority"), and Woodside Fire Protection District ( "District ") intend to <br />implement a "Joint Training Officer Program" in order to provide the most <br />efficient fire training services to the City, District, and Fire Authority; and <br />WHEREAS, the City, District, and Fire Authority are required to provide <br />mandated training in accordance with local, state and federal requirements in <br />addition to providing Standardized Operating Procedures, encourage <br />development and growth within each organization; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Joint Training Officer <br />Training Services" by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California, South County Fire Authority, a Joint <br />Powers Agreement, and the Woodside Fire Protection District, a fire protection <br />district in the County of San Mateo, State of California, for the performance of <br />the above - mentioned Joint Training Officer Training Services, a copy of which <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br />Reso-1112 <br />FXS:rg <br />F: /Shared/Redwood/Coundl <br />03/20/01 <br />
