03/26/01 0RIGI �1 A L RESOLUTION NO. 14182 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RECEIVING THE REPORT TO CITY COUNCIL AND THE FIFTH AMENDMENT TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AND CONSENTING TO AND SETTING A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED FIFTH AMENDMENT TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT # 2 WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City ( "Agency ") by Resolution No. RD -Ol_ on June 11,2001 submitted to the City Council of the City of Redwood City ( "Council ") a proposed Fifth Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan ( "Fifth Amendment ") for Redevelopment Project # 2 (the "Project ") along with the Report to City Council on the Fifth Amendment and consented to and requested that the Council set a joint public hearing of the Agency and Council to consider and act upon the proposed Fifth Amendment; and WHEREAS, the Council acknowledges receipt of the proposed Fifth Amendment and the Report to City Council; and WHEREAS, Section 33355 of the California Community Redevelopment Law authorizes a joint public hearing on the proposed Fifth Amendment with the consent of the Agency and the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Council consents to, and at the request of the Agency, sets a joint public hearing of the Agency and the Council on June 11, 2001, at or after 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, California, to consider and act upon the proposed Fifth Amendment and all documents and evidence pertaining thereto. 2. The Clerk of the City of Redwood City shall, in cooperation with Agency staff, prepare, publish, and mail notices and documents and do all other acts a may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this resolution. 5th Amendment Resolution for 3/26/01 AK: 3/8/01
