5/14/01 <br />ORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14219 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE SPORT FIELD <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AT GARFIELD CHARTER SCHOOL; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 14177, adopted March 26, 2001, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Sport Field Improvement Project at <br />Garfield Charter School in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, one bid was received for the <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, Robert A. Bothman, Inc. of San Jose, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br />bid to Robert A. Bothman, Inc.; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Robert A. Bothman, Inc. in the amount of Nine Hundred <br />Thirty-six Thousand Three Hundred Twenty and No /100 Dollars ($936,320.00), <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated April 18, 2001 for the Sport <br />Field Improvement Project at Garfield Charter School, is hereby accepted and <br />said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br />said work. <br />Reso -1141 1 <br />FXS:djk <br />Shared/Redwood/Council <br />04/25/01 <br />
