0 R I G I 'J A L <br />RESOLUTION NO 14262 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF LICENSE AGREEMENT <br />(PACIFIC SHORES PLAY FIELDS) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City ( "City ") and Pacific Shores Center <br />Limited Partnership, a Delaware Limited Partnership, entered into a Development <br />Agreement (the "Development Agreement ") on October 26, 1998, as evidenced <br />by Ordinance No. 2151, duly adopted by the City Council of the City. <br />WHEREAS, Section 12 of the Development Agreement provides in part <br />that Pacific Shores will make available play fields to the City on certain dates and <br />at certain times specified therein. <br />WHEREAS, The City of Redwood City and Pacific Shores Development, <br />Pacific Shores Center Limited Partnership's successor in interest ( "PSD ") intend <br />to enter into a license agreement (the "Agreement ") in furtherance of the parties' <br />respective rights and obligations set forth in the Development Agreement. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain License Agreement entitled, "Pacific Shores Center Play <br />Fields License Agreement," pursuant to which the City of Redwood City and PSD <br />are setting forth the schedules of organized youth games and practices arranged <br />through the Redwood City Parks and Recreation Department and clarifying the <br />use of the Play Fields, a copy of which License Agreement is on file in the office <br />of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full particulars <br />thereof, is hereby accepted, and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby <br />authorized and directed to execute and to attest thereto, respectively, said <br />License Agreement in a form approved by the City Attorney, for and on behalf of <br />the City of Redwood City. <br />Reso -1184 <br />f:lsh /sh /RC /Council <br />FXS;fs <br />06/18/01 <br />6/25/01 <br />
