07/09/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1 4275 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE 2001 -2002 TRAFFIC <br />SIGNAL LOOP REPLACEMENT PROGRAM; AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK <br />WHEREAS, written bids with public advertisement were solicited for the <br />2001 -2002 Traffic Signal Loop Replacement Program in the City of Redwood <br />City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, two bids were received for the <br />performance of said work and filed with the Department of Public Works <br />Services; and <br />WHEREAS, Republic Electric of Novato, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br />bid to Republic Electric; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Republic Electric, in the total amount of Eighteen Thousand <br />Four Hundred Thirty Dollars ($18,430.00), computed in accordance with bidder's <br />proposal dated June 12, 2001, for the 2001 -2002 Traffic Signal Loop <br />Replacement Program, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br />Reso -943 <br />F:\shared \Redwood \Council <br />DE&D <br />06/26/01 R <br />
