7/30/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1 n,01 <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING FRANCOIS X. SORBA <br />AS ACTING CITY ATTORNEY <br />OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to appoint Francois X. Sorba as Acting <br />City Attorney pursuant to the provisions of Section 44 of the Charter of the City of <br />Redwood City, effective from and after August 1, 2001; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Francois X. Sorba is hereby appointed Acting City Attorney of the City of <br />Redwood City effective from and after August 1, 2001, to hold said office at the <br />pleasure of the Council of the City of Redwood City, subject to the provisions of <br />the Charter of the City of Redwood City and the terms and conditions of such <br />agreement as may be entered into between the City and said Acting City <br />Attorney, as said agreement or terms and conditions thereof may from time to <br />time be amended, revised, or superceded. <br />Reso -1211 <br />DES:rg <br />F: /s h /sh /Redwood /Council <br />07/24/01 <br />
