8/13/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14305 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR PREPARATION OF AN <br />ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT FOR PROPOSED CHILD <br />CARE FACILITY AT ORACLE FACILITIES <br />(LCP ASSOCIATES) <br />WHEREAS, Oracle has submitted a proposal to construct a Child Care <br />Facility at the Oracle Facilities, in the City of Redwood City (the "Project "); and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of environmental <br />assessment is required pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act <br />( "CEQA "; Pub. Res. Code §21000 et seq.), the State Guidelines implementive <br />thereof ( "State CEQA Guidelines'; 14 CCR §15000, et seq.) and the City's <br />regulations implementive thereof ( "City's CEQA Regulations "; Resolution No. <br />6882, as amended); and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City's CEQA Regulations, City has determined <br />that said environmental studies and documentation shall be prepared pursuant <br />to contract entered into with a consultant subject to funding therefor by the <br />Developer; and <br />WHEREAS, the Developer has deposited with City the estimated fees and <br />costs to be incurred pursuant to said Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, preparation of an Environmental Assessment is required to <br />provide City's decision - making bodies with an objective determination of impacts <br />caused by the Project; and <br />
