-- 08/27/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1433:7 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR HOUSING REVITALIZATION AND <br />ENERGY PROGRAM <br />(NORTH PENINSULA NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES CENTER) <br />WHEREAS, North Peninsula Neighborhood Services Center (Contractor) conducts a <br />housing accessibility modification program for residents of the City of Redwood City <br />(the Program); and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2001, and ending June 30, 2002; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars and no /100 Dollars <br />($50,000.00) from its HOME Investment Partnership funds for the foregoing purposes; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />
