08/27/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 143'i9 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br />SANITIARY SEWER SYSTEM SUPPLIES; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published for <br />supplies for the Sanitary Sewer Maintenance Section, Wastewater Management <br />Services Division of the Public Works Services Department; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publications three bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, WECO Industries of Vallejo, California, is the lowest <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the <br />bid of WECO Industries; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of WECO Industries, in the total amount of Fifty -seven <br />Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty and 36/100 Dollars ($57,860.36), computed in <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated July 24, 2001, for the purchase of <br />sanitary sewer supplies, which bid is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby <br />approved, and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for the purchase of said materials to the City. <br />F:Atty2001 Shared/Redwood/Council/Reso/Reso-1 224 1 <br />
