_ 10/28/02 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14469 <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED <br />CITY -OWNED PROPERTY SURPLUS AND <br />AUTHORIZING SALE THEREOF <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City owns that certain personal property <br />listed on Exhibit 'A," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that such property is not <br />needed for present or prospective municipal or public purposes, and should be <br />declared surplus; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property and <br />determined that the current reasonable market value of the total of each of the <br />surplus items to be sold as a unit is less than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000); <br />Tire <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to declare said <br />property surplus and authorize its sale in accordance with Section 3 -1/2 of the <br />Charter of the City of Redwood City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. This Council hereby finds, determines and declares that those items <br />listed on Exhibit A are surplus; that they are no longer necessary or required for <br />municipal or public purposes; and that the appraised value of the total of each of <br />the items to be sold as a unit is less than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000). <br />F:Atty /Reso /Reso.1295 1 <br />101102 <br />
