12/09/02 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14484 <br />DEFINING THE EMPLOYEE POSITIONS ELIGIBLE <br />FOR THE RETIREMENT ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, in the fall of 2001 the City Council agreed to provide a 2% <br />pre -tax contribution to a deferred compensation program to eligible employees; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, staff has examined alternative deferred compensation plan <br />and has recommended a 401(a) defined contribution retirement plan as a <br />member of the Public Agency Retirement System (PARS) Trust; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to define the Employee positions <br />eligible for said retirement enhancement program; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br />(Listing of employee positions eligible for the Retirement Enhancement Program: <br />City Manager <br />Assistant to the City Manager <br />Assistant City Manager <br />City Attorney <br />City Clerk <br />Finance Director <br />Community Development Services Director <br />Human Resources Director <br />Fire Chief <br />Library Director <br />Police Chief <br />Public Works Services Director <br />Parks, Recreation and Community Services Director) <br />F:Atty /Reso /Reno <br />
