07/14/2003 <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk is requesting discretionary authority to utilize the <br />provisions of Section 36933( c )(1) in appropriate circumstances to prepare and publish <br />summaries of proposed ordinances or amendments to existing ordinances. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The City Clerk is hereby designated as the official authorized to prepare <br />summaries of proposed ordinances or amendments to existing <br />ordinances. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to utilize the discretion of said office to <br />determine the appropriate circumstances to publish and post summaries <br />of proposed ordinances or amendments to existing ordinances in <br />compliance with the Section 36933 (c)(1) as the same now exists or <br />hereafter is amended. <br />F Atty/Reso/Reso. 1406 14536 <br />070903 2 <br />
