A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF AN APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL SURFACE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM FUNDING FOR RESURFACING WHIPPLE AVENUE FROM VETERANS BOULEVARD TO EL CAMINO REAL, INDUSTRIAL WAY FROM WHIPPLE AVENUE TO THE CITY LIMIT, AND ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS FROM EATON AVENUE TO DE ANZA AVENUE; COMMITTING THE NECESSARY NON - FEDERAL MATCH FOR THE PROJECT(S); AND STATING THE ASSURANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO COMPLETE THE PROJECT

10/25/2004 <br />8. That based on existing information and belief there is no legal impediment <br />to the City making applications for Local Streets and Roads Shortfall Program funds. <br />9. That based on existing information and belief there is no pending or <br />threatened litigation which might in any way adversely affect the Project, or the ability of <br />the City to deliver the Project. <br />10. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to transmit a copy of <br />this resolution to the MTC in conjunction with the filing of the application for funds. <br />11.
