03/14/2005 <br />permit construction of a residence at 3733 Laurel Way, subject to the <br />condition that the owner enter into an agreement with the City for the <br />construction of street improvements consisting of one -half of a standard <br />hillside street width extending across the frontage of that lot, and also for <br />extensions of water and sewer mains to serve said property. <br />f. In 1986, variances to provisions of the Zon. Ord. were granted to permit <br />construction of a residence at 3737 Laurel Way, likewise upon the <br />condition that the property owner enter into an agreement for construction <br />of street improvements consisting of one -half of a standard hillside street <br />width across the frontage of said property and also for extensions of water <br />and sewer mains to serve said property. <br />g. Concurrently with the application to improve the property located at 3737 <br />Laurel Way, the then owner of 3741 Laurel Way sought similar <br />entitlements to construct a residence at that location which, if granted, <br />would have required variances to the Zon. Ord. The City Council denied <br />that request. <br />h. In 1988, as the result of then pending applications for further development <br />of properties fronting on Laurel Way, a report was submitted to the City <br />Council describing the demand for development and concerns of City <br />Staff regarding such development without adequate study (Report to <br />Honorable Mayor and City Council from City Manager, dated September <br />1, 1988, Subject: Extension of Development on Laurel Way).
