NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE Council of the City of Redwood City ( "City "), a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, will hold a public hearing on the date, and at the <br />time and place hereinafter specified, to consider vacating a portion of St. Francis Street, south <br />of Redwood Avenue, north of and including the Redwood Creek drainage channel, west of <br />1535 Redwood Avenue, and east of 1605 Redwood Avenue, in the City of Redwood City. <br />The Owner of the 1535 Redwood Avenue property has requested that the City <br />vacate that portion of St. Francis Street.. <br />The City of Redwood City and other utility companies do have utilities and /or facilities in <br />this portion of St. Francis Street, and the City of Redwood City intends to reserve a Public <br />Service Easement within that portion of St. Francis Street for future public use. <br />The City of Redwood City does not need this portion of St. Francis Street for traffic <br />circulation. <br />More information is on file and available for review in the City Clerk's office located at <br />1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, California. <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the public hearing shall be held on, <br />and at, the date, time, and place hereinafter specified, at which hearing of all persons <br />interested in the matter will be given the opportunity to be heard: <br />Date: September 12, 2005 <br />Time: 7 p.m., or as soon thereafter <br />As the matter may be heard <br />Place: City Council Chamber <br />City of Redwood <br />1017 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br />DATED: <br />(Publish Twice) <br />s/library/masters/Public Hearing Notice — St. Francis Street <br />City Clerk, City of Redwood City <br />
