<br />05/08/2006 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14711 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY ADOPTING A COST RECOVERY POLICY FOR THE <br />PROCESSING OF PLANNING RELATED APPLICATIONS FOR MINOR <br />DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS AND AMENDING RESOLUTIONS <br />NO.14609 AND 11333. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 9, 1990, the City Council of the City of Redwood City (the <br />"City Council") adopted Resolution No. 11333 which established a fee schedule for <br />permit processing and related services provided by the Department of Community <br />Development and which rescinded all resolutions or provisions in conflict therewith; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, also on June 9, 1990, the City Council adopted Resolution <br />No.11334 which amended Paragraph 4 of Resolution No. 6882, as amended by <br />Resolution No. 7805 related to the fee schedule for the evaluation of certain projects <br />and the preparation of environmental documents; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on September 27, 2004, the City Council adopted Resolution No <br />14609, which established a cost recovery policy for the processing of planning related <br />applications for major projects, amended certain provisions of Resolution No. 6882, and <br />repealed in its entirety Resolution No. 11334; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to provide a cost recovery program for <br />the processing of planning related applications for minor development projects; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on May 8, 2006, the City Council held a public hearing (the "Public <br />Hearing") at which oral and written presentations were permitted on the proposed cost <br />recovery policy for processing of planning related applications for minor development <br />projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at least twice within a ten (10) day period prior to the Public <br />Hearing, notice of the time and place of the Public Hearing was published in a <br />newspaper of general circulation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at least ten (10) days prior to the Public Hearing, Planning staff <br />made available to the public data indicating the amount of cost or estimated cost <br />required to provide the services for which the application processing fee is to be levied <br />and the revenue sources anticipated to provide the services. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />ATTY/RESO.1611 <br />051006 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />14711 <br />Muff # 505 <br /> <br />- ----- -- --------.----.-------.--..------------- -,---"'----'---'-- <br />
