<br />08/27/2007 <br />ATTACHMENT 3 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14805 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY ADOPTING THE NORTH MAIN STREET PRECISE PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on December 2, 2002, the City Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />adopted Ordinance No. 1130-315, to permit the creation of Planned Community <br /> <br />Districts as an additional tool to assist the City with its future planning activities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in compliance with California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br />regulations, on April 17, 2007, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />adopted a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the North Main Street Precise Plan (the <br /> <br />"Precise Plan"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 10, 2007, the Planning Commission voted to recommend <br /> <br />that the City Council approve the Precise Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 10, 2007, the Planning Commission voted to recommend to <br /> <br />the City Council that the existing Industrial Park-Vehicular Combining (IP-V) zoning <br /> <br />district and General Commercial (CG) zoning district for the real properties located <br /> <br />within the North Main Street Precise Plan Area be rezoned to Planned Community (P) <br /> <br />zoning district; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redwood City has reviewed the <br /> <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission as to the Precise Plan and has reviewed <br /> <br />the North Main Street Precise Plan Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Checklist, <br /> <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A", and has considered evidence <br /> <br />received at a duly notice public hearing related thereto. <br /> <br />Atty/Reso/Reso. 1740 <br />082207 <br /> <br />14805 <br />Muff # 613 <br />
