<br />06/09/2008 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14869 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING PETER C. INGRAM AS CITY MANAGER <br />OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND APPROVING AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT FOR <br />POSITION OF CITY MANAGER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> this Council desires to appoint Peter C. Ingram as City Manager <br />pursuant to the provisions of Section 26 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, <br />effective from and after June 10, 2008; and <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the terms and conditions of said employment are set forth in the <br />agreement hereinafter referenced; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1.Peter C. Ingram is hereby appointed City Manager of the City of Redwood <br />City effective from and after June 10, 2008, to hold said office at the pleasure of the <br />Council of the City of Redwood City, subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City <br />of Redwood City; and <br />2. That certain agreement entitled, “EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT CITY <br />MANAGER,” dated June 10, 2008, by and between the City of Redwood City, <br />a municipal corporation of the State of California, and Peter C. Ingram (“Employee”), <br />setting forth the terms and conditions of employment between the City and said <br />Employee, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the city clerk, to which <br />copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and <br />the Mayor and City Clerk are herby authorized and directed to execute and to attest <br />Atty/Reso/Reso.1828 14869 <br /> <br />061008 MUFF # 902 <br />
