<br />07/21/2008 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14876 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A REVISION OF THE SOILS AND <br />GRADING CRITERIA OF THE ENGINEERING STANDARDS FOR <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there now exist and are in effect Engineering Standards for <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City which include Design Criteria, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, PART II-uSoils and Grading Criteria" is part of the <br /> <br />Engineering Standards for the City of Redwood City and provides an elevation <br /> <br />reference system and uniform grading criteria. The last update was approved by <br /> <br />Council on December 4, 2006. Since then, additional updates to the surveying <br /> <br />and grading criteria were incorporated into Part II based on sources such as a <br /> <br />new elevation reference system and a new version of the Building Code adopted <br /> <br />by City Council in January 2008. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the revisions to the Engineering Standards for the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City has been reviewed by the appropriate members of City staff. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br /> <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That the revised and retitled PART lI-uSurveying and Grading <br /> <br />Criteria" of the Engineering Standards for the City of Redwood City on file with <br /> <br />the City's Office of Engineering and Construction, is hereby approved and <br /> <br />adopted as the standard elevation reference system and grading criteria in the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City; provided, however, that nothing herein contained shall be <br /> <br />14876 <br />MUFF # 205 <br />
