<br />11/24/2008 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 5, 2007, at a duly noticed public hearing, the Planning <br />Commission ("Commission") adopted a resolution of intention to initiate amendment to <br />the General Plan for the properties referenced above; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on May 20, 2008, at a duly noticed public hearing, the Commision adopted <br />and approved the Cedar Street Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration, and <br />recommended to the City Council of the City of Redwood City (the "City Council") an <br />amendment to the General Plan for the properties at 104 and 112 Cedar Street, 128- <br />132 Cedar Street, 1406 Main Street, and 1414 Main Street in the manner proposed and <br />referenced above as shown in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br />this reference; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this City Council, having reviewed the recommendation of the <br />Commission and having considered the evidence received at the public hearing duly <br />noticed and held for said proposed general plan amendments, finds that the proposed <br />general plan amendments are in the public interest and consistent with the purposes of <br />the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOllOWS: <br /> <br />1 . The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby incorporated by <br />this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br /> <br />2. That the City Council hereby makes amendment to the General Plan for the <br />properties at 104 and 112 Cedar Street, 128-132 Cedar Street, 1406 Main Street, and <br />1414 Main Street in the manner proposed and referenced above as shown in Exhibit <br /> <br />"A." <br /> <br />3.
