06/22/2009 <br />WHEREAS, a Water Supply Agreement, in the form negotiated by BAWSCA, <br />was presented to and approved by the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission on <br />April 28, 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, the Water Supply Agreement incorporates provisions which <br />accomplish the majority of the goals which the City sought to achieve in a new long- <br />term contractual relationship with San Francisco; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has so recommended. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The "Water Supply Agreement Between the City and County of San <br />Francisco and Wholesale Customers in Alameda County, San Mateo County, and <br />Santa Clara County" dated July 2009 (Agreement) is approved. <br />2. The City Manager is authorized and directed to sign the Agreement, in the <br />form previously approved by the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, on behalf of <br />the City. <br />Atty /Reso /Reso.1921 14948 <br />060909 2 Muff # 304 <br />
