09/14/2009 <br />ORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14966 <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2009 -2010 CAPITAL <br />PROJECTS FUND BUDGET TO ADD AMERICAN RECOVERY AND <br />REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) GRANT FUNDING FOR THE <br />EL CAMINO REAL GRAND BOULEVARD PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, on April 27, 2009, the City Council of the City of Redwood City ( "City <br />Council ") authorized the City to execute and file an application for funding under the <br />American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) for the El Camino Real <br />Grand Boulevard project; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City ( "City ") was recently awarded $213,000.00 <br />in additional ARRA funding to be expended for the El Camino Real Grand Boulevard <br />project, and <br />WHEREAS, on July 13, 2009, the City Council approved its Fiscal Year 2009- <br />2010 budget; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2009 -2010 budget did not include this grant funding <br />within the Capital Projects Fund; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2009 -2010 budget should be amended to reflect this <br />additional grant funding in the amount of Two Hundred Thirteen Thousand and No /100 <br />Dollars ($213,000.00) to be added to the Capital Projects Fund for this project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.
