C .A" (FAIR OAKS OUTREACH) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sequoia Y.M.C.A. (Fair Oaks Outreach) has been <br /> <br />established for the principal purpose of diverting youths from <br /> <br />the Juvenile Justice System and to provide a delinquency prevention <br /> <br />capability for families and agencies; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sequoia Y.M.C.A. (Fair Oaks Outreach) has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities <br /> <br />during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1980, and ending June 30, <br /> <br />1981; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and desires to pay to Sequoia Y.M.C.A. (Fair Oaks Outreach) the sum <br /> <br />of Seventeen Thousand Two Hundred and No/IOO Dollars ($17,200.00); <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval <br /> <br />an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Sequoia Y.M.C.A. <br /> <br />(Fair Oaks Outreach), and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8/15/80), by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood city and Sequoia Y.M.C.A. (Fair Oaks Outreach), <br /> <br />a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars <br /> <br />thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby <br /> <br />authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />(jfJ79 <br />
