<br />SrIC: bc 8/15/80 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8 681 <br /> <br />ORfGrNAL <br />AUG 2 5 198Q <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREE~1ENT ~vITH TARGET EDUCATION AND TI'JELFARE COUNCIL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare CounciL Inc. has been <br /> <br />established for the principal purpose of providing a multipurpose <br /> <br />Senior Center in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. has <br /> <br />requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its <br /> <br />activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1980, and <br /> <br />ending June 30, 1981; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and desires to pay to Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. <br /> <br />the sum of Twelve Thousand and No/IOO Dollars ($12,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ~here has been presented to this Council for approval <br /> <br />an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Target Education <br /> <br />and Welfare Council, Inc., and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8/15/80), by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc., <br /> <br />a copy which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br /> <br />to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, <br /> <br />is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8 5~~ 1 <br />
