<br />.. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I . <br /> <br />.-' <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />CGM:wb 10/9/80 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />8 717 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 2 7 1980 <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA (DEPARTMENT <br />OF TRANSPORTATION) RELATING TO STREET MAINTENANCE <br />RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE VICINITY OF HOLLY STREET <br />INTERCHANGE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and the State of California <br /> <br />entered into an agreement, dated June 19, 1961 pursuant to which <br /> <br />the City agreed and consented to certain adjustments of the City <br /> <br />street system required for the development of a portion of State <br /> <br />Highway Route 101; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, that portion of State Highway Route 101, which was <br /> <br />the subject of the above agreement, has been completed, and the <br /> <br />City and State desire to clarify the .maintenance responsibilities <br /> <br />of each as to the separation structures and City streets within <br /> <br />the freeway limits; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement describing the responsibilities of <br /> <br />the City and State has been presented to this Council for its <br /> <br />approval; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOvvS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and the State of California (Department of Transportation) , <br /> <br />a copy of which is presently on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is made for full particulars <br /> <br />concerning the terms and conditions thereof, is hereby approved, <br /> <br />and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute the <br /> <br />same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />
