<br />.. <br /> <br /># . <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />CGM:wb 10/22/80 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8744 <br /> <br />NOV 24 1980 <br />, O/71GJr~AL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT WITH THE ~illNLO PARK FIRE PROTECTION <br />DISTRICT RELATING TO FIRE CONSOLIDATION SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this City and the Menlo Park Fire Protection District <br /> <br />desire to develop a work plan to evaluate the feasibility of con- <br /> <br />solidating City's Fire Department with the District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this City and the District desire to share in the <br /> <br />cost of the preparation of such work plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been presented to this Council to <br /> <br />provide for such cost participation between the City and the District; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement-Fire Consolidation <br /> <br />Evaluation Services,'" (form dated 10/22/80), by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and the Menlo Park Fire Protection District, <br /> <br />a copy of which is presently on file in the office of the City Clerk <br /> <br />to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars concern- <br /> <br />ing the terms and conditions thereof, is hereby approved, and the <br /> <br />City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same <br /> <br />for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
