<br />----- <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />ORIGlt~AL <br /> <br />CGM:wb 10/22/80 <br />CGM:wb 11/13/80 R <br /> <br />8745 <br /> <br />NOV 24 1980 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />FOR CONSULTING SERVICES (FIRE EVALUATION SERVICES) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires certain fire <br /> <br />evaluation consulting services in connection with the development <br /> <br />of a work plan regarding the feasibility of a consolidation of <br /> <br /> <br />City's Fire) Department with the Menlo Park Fire Protection <br /> <br />District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ernst & Whinney has represented to the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City that it is qualified to perform th"e aforesaid <br /> <br />consulting services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City and Ernst & Whinney desire <br /> <br />to enter into an agreement for Ernst & Whinney to furnish the City <br /> <br />with the aforesaid consulting services; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />, That certain agreement between the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />Ernst & vvhinney, enti tIed "Agreement for Consul ting Services" <br /> <br />(form dated 11/13/80~),copies of which are presently on file in <br /> <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby <br /> <br />made, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized <br /> <br />to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
