<br />\ <br /> <br />SWC:mf 12/10/80 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 876 0 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />DEe 1 5 1980 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT WITH CITIZENS' CRI~ffi PREVENTION <br />INCORPORATED, CAPTURE PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Citizens' Crime Prevention Incorporated, CA~TURE <br /> <br />Program has been established for the principal purpose of reducing <br /> <br />crime related problems within the County of San Mateo through early <br /> <br />prevention measures; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the aforesaid CAPTURE Program has requested financial <br /> <br />assistance in order to conduct such a program for residents of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and desires to allocate to the aforesaid CAPTURE Program the sum <br /> <br />of Fifteen Thousand Four Hundred and No/IOO Dollars ($15,400.00) <br /> <br />from its Community Development Block Grant Funds for use by said <br /> <br />CAPTURE Program during the calendar year January 1, 1981 to <br /> <br />December 31, 1981, and in addition to donate the services of <br /> <br />two crime prevention officers for approximately twenty (20) <br /> <br />hours per week during the aforesaid period; and <br /> <br />YlliEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval <br /> <br />an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Citizens' Crime <br /> <br />Prevention Incorporated, CAPTURE Program, and it is the intention <br /> <br />and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 12/10/80), by and <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City and Citizens' Crime Prevention <br /> <br />Incorporated, CAPTURE Program, a copy of which agreement is on <br /> <br />file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br /> <br />hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, <br /> <br />and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute <br /> <br />the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8760 <br />
