RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 8768 DEe 1 5 1980 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING PARCEL ~~P NO. 78-12, REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS; APPROVING AND ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT THEREOF; AND APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS FOR SAID SUBDIVISION; AND RESCINDING RESOLUTIONS NOS. 8229 AND 8493 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: That certain Parcel Map No. 78-12 in the City of Redwood City, prepared by Richard I. Whaley, civil engineer for Richard Loretz and Lee Hall, owners of record of said subdivision is hereby approved as being in conformity with the heretofore approved tentative map for this project by the Subdivision Committee of the City of Redwood City on June 14, 1978, subject

<br />2. That, prior to the release of said map by City and prior <br /> <br /> <br />to its recordation, the owners or subdividers shall furnish to <br /> <br /> <br />City and file with the City Clerk a good and sufficient bond in <br /> <br /> <br />the form to be approved by the City Attorney, securing the <br /> <br /> <br />faithful performance by said owners or subdividers of all work <br /> <br /> <br />and the construction of all improvements designated or mentioned <br /> <br /> <br />in said agreement, and within the time therein specified, the <br /> <br /> <br />amount of said bond to be Forty Thousand and No/IOO Dollars <br /> <br /> <br />($40,000.00), and also a good and sufficient bond in form to <br /> <br /> <br />be approved by the City Attorney securing the payment by said <br /> <br /> <br />owners or subdividers of all bills for labor and materials incurred <br /> <br /> <br />in the construction of any and all said improvements, and the <br /> <br /> <br />doing of all other work therein agreed to be done by the said <br /> <br /> <br />owners or subdividers, the amount of said bond to be Forty <br /> <br /> <br />Thousand and No/lOO Dollars ($40,000.00). <br /> <br /> <br />3. That prior to the release of said map by City and <br /> <br /> <br />prior to its recordation, the owners or subdividers shall <br /> <br /> <br />furnish to City and file with the City Clerk certificates or <br /> <br /> <br />policies of public liability and property damage insurance as <br /> <br /> <br />required by the above mentioned agreement entitled "Agreement <br /> <br /> <br />for the Improvement of Parcel Map No. 78-12 Subdivision," on <br /> <br /> <br />file in the office of the City Clerk. <br /> <br /> <br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> <br />That those certain plans entitled "Improvement Plans - <br /> <br /> <br />Enea Heights, Upland Road and Whipple Avenue" and those certain <br /> <br /> <br />specifications entitled "City of Redwood City Standard <br /> <br /> <br />Specifications - dated August 1974," which plans and specifications <br /> <br /> <br />are now on file in the office of the City Engineer are hereby <br /> <br /> <br />approved and adopted as the plans and specifications according <br /> <br /> <br />to which the above mentioned improvements shall be done. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
