<br />CGM:wb 2/5/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />8787 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />FEB 9 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION AND PLANTING OF CHESTNUT PARK; AND <br />AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br /> <br />plans and specifications for the construction and planting of <br /> <br />Chestnut Park in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to signify its approval thereof <br /> <br />and authorize the City Clerk to advertise for bids for the doing <br /> <br />of such work; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Those certain specifications entitled "Landscape <br /> <br />Construction and Planting - Chestnut Park - Redwood City, California" <br /> <br />and those certain plans entitled "Landscape Construction and Planting <br /> <br />- Chestnut Park - Redwood City, California" and on file in the office <br /> <br />of the Director of Public Works, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />advertise for bids for the doing of such work in accordance with <br /> <br />the plans and specifications therefor, said advertisement to be <br /> <br />in the form of that certain "Notice to Contractors" set forth in <br /> <br />the above mentioned specifications. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8787 <br />
