<br />SWC:mf 2/12/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8796 <br /> <br />ORfG I NAL <br />FEB 2 3 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PRIORITY PLAN ESTABLISHED BY THE <br />COUNTY OF SAN MATEO FOR EXPENDITURES UNDER THE CALIFORNIA <br />PARKLANDS ACT OF 1980 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, California Park lands Act of 1980 requires that each <br /> <br />County shall consult with all cities and districts within the County <br /> <br />which are eligible to receive grant funds under provisions of <br /> <br />Section 5096.156 of the Act and develop and submit to the State <br /> <br />for approval a priority plan for expenditure of the County's <br /> <br />allocations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said priority plan must be approved by at least <br /> <br />fifty percent (50%) of the cities and districts representing <br /> <br />fifty percent (50%) of the population of the cities and districts <br /> <br />within the County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo has presented to this Council <br /> <br />a proposed priority plan for expenditure as required by the Act; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Council to approve that <br /> <br />proposed priority plan; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE I <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The priority plan of expenditure pursuant to the provisions <br /> <br />of the California Parklands Act of 1980 which has been proposed <br /> <br />by the County of San Mateo, a copy of which plan is attached hereto, <br /> <br />labeled "Exhibit 1", and incorporated herein by reference, is <br /> <br />hereby approved. <br /> <br />The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward a copy of this <br /> <br />Resolution to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of the County <br /> <br />of San Mateo. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8796 <br />
