<br />,. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />CGM:wb 5/14/81 <br /> <br />MAY 1 8 1981 <br /> <br />OR/GIM <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF ONE ~ <br />3/4-TON TRUCK AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />8853 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8829, adopted April 6, <br /> <br />1981, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of one <br /> <br />3/4-ton truck to be used for municipal services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, E-Z DAVIES CHEVROLET, . Redwood City, California, is <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equip- <br /> <br />ment, and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid <br /> <br />to E-Z Davies Chevrolet; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of E-Z Davies Chevrolet, in the total lump sum <br /> <br />of Ten Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty-four and 55/100 ($10,784.55), <br /> <br />for the furnishing of one 3/4-ton truck (including telescope <br /> <br />steel cover), in accordance with the specifications therefor on <br /> <br />file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and <br /> <br />said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />agreement with E-Z Davies Chevrolet, for the furnishing of the <br /> <br />above mentioned equipment in accordance with, and subject to, <br /> <br />the terms and conditions of the aforementioned specifications <br /> <br />in accordance with the aforementioned bidder's proposal. <br /> <br />3. Any informalities in the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 <br /> <br />hereof are hereby waived. <br /> <br />8853 <br />
