10. City Services: The City agrees to provide the following requested <br /> services: <br /> <br /> *Normal police patrol during the event; <br /> <br /> *Notification signs that the parking lot will be closed from 6:00 P.M. on July <br /> 3, 1996 until 7:00 A.M. on July 8, 1996. <br /> <br /> *Barricades for the parking lot. <br /> <br /> *The City will waive the parking lot fees as part of this permit. <br /> <br />11. Restroom Facilities: Adequate temporary restroom facilities (minimum of <br /> 8) shall be provided by Permittee and serviced during the event at no <br /> expense to the City. <br /> <br />12. Miscellaneous and Additional Matters. It is further agreed that the <br /> following miscellaneous concerns and services shall be the responsibility <br /> of the Permittee, coordinated with and approved by the Chief of Police <br /> regarding: <br /> <br /> *A temporary fence (6' high along the railroad side) shall be placed around <br /> the Carnival area with entrances at established cross-walks to direct <br /> pedestrian traffic and contain litter; <br /> <br /> *Periodic trash cleanup during the event and continued availability of trash <br /> containers and bins throughout the carnival area; <br /> <br /> *An agreement by Kiwanis to cover the first $2000 of any damage or loss <br /> before submitting to the insurance company; <br /> <br /> *Provision of private security to the Carnival (unarmed, insured, and <br /> licensed) during daylight hours; <br /> <br /> *Pay for the services of two (2) Redwood City Police Officers to be <br /> assigned solely to the carnival during the hours of 7:00 P.M. and 11:00 <br /> P.M. each night of the carnival's operation; <br /> <br /> *On-site presence of at least 2 Kiwanis members during operating hours <br /> available as City contact; <br /> <br /> *Establishment of a First Aid Station and an event headquarters; <br /> <br /> 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
